RAVENOL Transfer Fluid DTF-1

The new RAVENOL Transfer Fluid DTF-1 replaces the RAVENOL Transfer Fluid TF-0870!

With the Ravenol DTF-1 you will find a special gear oil in our assortment. The synthetic automatic transmission oil is based on selected hydrocracking oils, which ensure the optimum performance of the transfer case through a particularly innovative additive.

The special feature of the Ravenol Transfer Fluid DTF-1 is its application in active transfer cases, i.e. electronically controlled active transfer cases. This use is also documented by the manufacturer by the marking ATC (Active Transfer Case) on the label.

Properties of the Ravenol TF-0870

The Ravenol DTF1 is a gear oil with excellent lubricating properties. Even at low temperatures, it guarantees fast oiling of the gearbox and ensures the best gearbox performance. A high viscosity index (VI) ensures excellent high temperature performance. Due to the high VI, the initial viscosity remains stable even at high temperatures in the gearbox. The Ravenol Transfer Fluid DTF-1 therefore impresses at both low and high temperatures.

Thanks to its innovative additives, the Ravenol DTF-1 exceeds the current requirements of transmission manufacturers. At the same time, the special chemical properties ensure excellent oxidation stability. This prevents the individual chemical components in the gear oil from oxidizing at high oil temperatures, thus impairing the performance of the oil. By using the Ravenol Transfer Fluid DTF-1 you guarantee the best performance characteristics at different operating temperatures.

Another special feature is its compatibility with seals. A neutral sealing behavior prevents decomposition of the rubber seals and the resulting leakage of liquids.

Application of the Ravenol Transfer Fluid DTF-1

The DTF-1 is a special development for transmissions. Unlike common gear oils, Ravenol DTF-1 cannot be selected for its viscosity or specification. For this reason, Ravenol does not provide further information on viscosity. Rather, it refers to the appropriate spare part numbers. One of the stored spare part numbers (OEM part numbers) for the transmission oil should be stored in your vehicle manual. You can use these numbers to check whether the Ravenol DTF-1 is suitable for your transmission.
