With the RAVENOL Extra Fuel Economy EFE SAE 0W-16 the manufacturer Ravenol places the world's first engine oil of the pioneer viscosity class SAE 0W-16 approved by API with the specification API SN.

RAVENOL EFE 0W-16 is a fully synthetic low-viscosity engine oil of the exclusive premium product line USVO (Ultra Strong Viscosity Oil). In addition, it is formulated according to the proven Ravenol CleanSynto technology. The SAE class 0W-16 is suitable for passenger car gasoline and diesel engines with and without turbocharging, as well as direct injection engines. It is particularly recommended for hybrid vehicles. For more detailed information as to whether engine oils of viscosity class 0W-16 have been approved by the manufacturer of your vehicle, please refer to your vehicle manual and the further manufacturer information.

The smooth running properties of the new SAE Class 0W-16 provide significant fuel savings.

The oil has been developed using trinuclear molybdenum and OFM (Organic Friction Modifiers). This minimizes friction and wear. In addition, this formulation achieves excellent cold start behaviour, which ensures optimum lubrication reliability during cold running.
