Petro-Canada Supreme Synthetic 0W-30 is a semi-synthetic engine oil that meets the modern standards of ILSAC GF-5 and API SN Plus / RC. Specially developed for use in gasoline engines, Supreme Synthetic Motor Oil 0W-30 is suitable for use in passenger cars, SUVs and light commercial vehicles.
The API SN specification was developed especially for engine oils that are able to prevent LSPI (Low Speed Preignition), i.e. the tendency to knock at low driving speeds, in downsized direct injection engines with turbocharging and the resulting engine damage.
Petro Canada Supreme Synthetic 0W-30 can also be used without restriction for older models for which engine oils according to ILSAC GF-3, ILSAC GF-4 or API SL, API SM are prescribed.
